Qualifications and Experience:

iii. Have proven experience in maintenance and overhauling of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, fitting, turning, and fabrication.

iv. Read electrical, architectural, and mechanical diagrams, drawings or specifications to determine job requirements.

v. Test for, locate and repair electrical malfunctions.

vi. Capable to install insulated cables and connect switches, outlets and other fittings; connect circuit breakers, transformers, motors, heaters and other electrical components in the engines listed in Attachment 02 to this Appendix A.

vii. Completed the H2S training, T-BOSIET, Basic Rigging & Slinging and Safety
Courses related to working offshore/ Onshore.

viii. Have minimum of five (05) years maintenance experience working with diesel engines, marine engines and similar equipment addressed in Attachment 02 to this Appendix A.

ix. Have good computer skills and able to write reports.

x. Physically fit and able to swim and have a valid Offshore medical fitness certificate.

Assists in project issues and schedules.

Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor as needed.
Supports the Lead Engineer in the engineering and management functions required to complete the project, familiarised themselves with the relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals and Procedures within Hill International, and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed by Hill.
Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.

Desired Candidate Profile

BSc or equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering.
Experienced in Automatic Train Control
Experienced in working on multi-disciplinary Projects in a construction and railway environment.
A high level of electrical ability.
At least 8-10 years of experience in a similar role, Previous experience in site management/supervision experience.
Experienced in electrical knowledge to ensure safety in the construction and railway environment.
Detailed knowledge of the electrical field of installation and design process.
Detailed knowledge of specialist field installation and design along with contractual requirements
Site supervision experience related to proper HSE conditions.
Must be able to work with minimum supervision in undertaking large projects and have the appropriate electrical technical ability to act in this manner.
Communication and interpersonal skills, with the drive and commitment to achieve project objectives.
Ability to effectively plan and prioritize work, delegating where necessary.
Good communication skills, computer-literate, technical engineering background and Cad skills.

Key duties will be:

• Performs or monitors all types of equipment inspection including that which requires the use of calipers, micrometers, infrared camera, borescopes, pit gages, etc. to assure continued safe operation.
• Performs or monitors all necessary inspections for the installation of hot tap, weld plus ends repair sleeves, or any welding that is required on piping or equipment while in service.

Education & Experience Requirements

As the successful candidate he will hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized and approved program. He has to have two or more of the following certificates:

• API 570-Certificated Piping Inspector
• API 510-Certificated Pressure Vessel Inspector
• API 653- Certificated Above Ground Storage Tanks
• CSWIP, Certified Welding Inspector
• NDT courses LEVEL II (VT, UT, RT, ET, MT, and PT)
• Seven years in industrial inspection field
• Full knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of International codes such as ASME, API and NACE
• Good communication skills both, verbal and writing

Also, it is preferred to have a candidate who has experience and worked before with Saudi Aramco and has full knowledge about Saudi Aramco standards and procedures.

The Senior Maintenance Engineer leverages deep understanding of maintenance strategies in order to contribute to day-to-day operational.
Maintenance expertise and leadership and supports the Head of Maintenance in monitoring and implementing the strategies for managing the shipyards assets throughout their lifecycle.
All works is executed to a high quality & auditable standard that is consistent with the companies integrated management systems and policies.
As a senior officer, a high level of technical skill and experience is demanded and is expected to be demonstrably applied to technical problems and monitoring of trades employees.

Accountabilities

Key Accountabilities:

1) Develops a deep understanding of the yard specific maintenance strategy and supports the Head of Maintenance in breaking strategy down into short to medium time horizon work plans and tactics. Supports the implementation of all aspect of the Maintenance Strategy.
2) Operate and maintain all Substations (High Voltage (HV), Medium Voltage (MV), Low Voltage (LV)) and external electrical systems.
3) Operate and maintain site-wide Electrical Low Voltage (ELV) systems consisting of Power Management System (PMS), Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) , Fire Alarm Systems (FAS), Distributed Control System (DCS) and Plant Monitoring System (PMonS).
4) Operate and maintain the site Fire Alarm system and all its components.
5) Prepare and manage all spare parts required for the maintenance of the Equipment and related assets.
6) Support the Head of Maintenance in the preparation of maintenance strategies to reduce failure rates of equipment and improve maintenance KPIs.
7) Prepare RCA reports and provide Head of Maintenance with proposals for preventing repeat failures and ensuring lessons learned.
8) Prepare scopes of work and tender documentation for sub-contractors.
9) Supervise sub-contractors and ensure compliance with scope of work.
10) Lead and supervise maintenance technicians.
11) Prepare risk assessments and apply required permits.
12) Maintain maintenance records.
13) Coordinate with relevant authorities and obtain approvals for any changes to systems and structures.
14) Communicate upwards – training needs, process improvement suggestions and follow up on implementation.
15) Schedule and prioritize work considering all available resources.

21) Achieves Performance Indicators as defined in the Nakilat-Keppel Shipyard Quality Policy and Objectives Matrix.
22) Maintains the SAP Module is maintained according to the schedule.
23) Implements and monitors compliance to department budgets and raises any requirement to deviate from them.
24) Monitors approved sub-contractors.
25) Demonstrates leadership at a monthly section review meeting.
26) Supports execution of daily operations, making sure maintenance plans are met.
27) Contribute with timely updates and inputs such as lead and lag indication data to inform stakeholders to support internal decision making and performance review processes.
28) Model a collaborative and cross-organizational relationship within and between maintenance and operations and support functions to ensure alignment to desired high performance culture.
29) Drive a safety culture within the team through role modelling safety values and behaviors. Ensure compliance with health, safety, security and environment standards.
30) Ensure achievement of key performance indicators & address performance issues.
